Aspiring young pianists participated in the Kayserburg Vietnam Youth Piano Competition & Festival 2022, performing on a Kayserburg Concert Grand Piano. Sponsored by Bilimoon Company and the Vietnam Institute of Education Development (VIED) to promote multilateral cooperation for the development of the country’s culture & art
From August 28th to September 1st, young pianists with aspirations of greatness took part in the Kayserburg Vietnam Youth Piano Competition & Festival 2022. They showcased their talents on a Kayserburg Concert Grand Piano and the event was made possible by the support of Bilimoon Company and the Vietnam Institute of Education Development (VIED), which aimed to enhance the development of the country’s art and culture through multilateral cooperation. Contestants from all parts of the country participated in the event.
Upon completion of two rounds, the top winner in the Competition Category was granted a Kayserburg KHB1 47.25″ Heritage Series Vertical Piano valued at 230 million VND (around $12,000 USD). Meanwhile, the victorious participant in the Grand Champion Festival Category received a Pearl River EU118S 46.5″ Classic Studio Upright Piano worth 130 million VND (about $7,000 USD).
The aim of the competition is to nurture talented individuals who can qualify to participate in the Kayserburg International Youth Piano Competition held in China. This renowned competition draws in over 100,000 contenders from various parts of the world.
According to Leng Tshua, the Director of Global Sales and Marketing at Pearl River Piano, the competition holds significance not only in nurturing and recognizing the skills of young Vietnamese pianists, but also in providing them with a chance to hone their stage skills and showcase their artistic abilities.
Tshua stated that VIED Education’s objective is to stimulate and inspire younger generations to learn music, promote music, propagate advanced culture, and advance art education in the modern era. Tshua expressed Kayserburg’s privilege to be part of this esteemed occasion.
