Kayserburg Plays Center Stage at ‘For Peace’ Charity Concert in Paris

Held at the Bernardine Academy in Paris, under the 13th-century vaulted ceilings of the Collège Saint-Bernard nave, 400 spectators were enthralled by Kayserburg Ambassador Zhou Qinling (also known as Chow Ching Ling) and French pianist François Bettencourt who performed an eclectic mix of classical and popular songs on a Kayserburg KA180 5′ 11″ Artists Series and a GH188A 6′ 2″ Heritage Series Grand Pianos

On October 9th, the Knights of Malta organized a charity concert called For Peace, which aimed to provide care for those in need. The event took place in the oldest medieval building in Paris and featured performances on two Kayserburg grand pianos, creating a stunning centerpiece. The concert utilized music as a means of caring for people in the community.

Kayserburg Ambassador Zhou Qinling (also known as Chow Ching Ling) and French pianist François Bettencourt delivered a captivating performance of classical and popular songs on a Kayserburg KA180 5′ 11″ Artists Series and a GH188A 6′ 2″ Heritage Series Grand Pianos to an audience of 400 at the Bernardine Academy in Paris. The venue boasted 13th-century vaulted ceilings in the Collège Saint-Bernard nave. The event also featured Soprano Wu Lin, an ensemble comprising He Jiaying and six young Chinese pianists, and French comedienne Catherine Salviant for added entertainment.

Funds raised from the concert supported the Knights of Malta’s global medical and humanitarian activities, which focused on disaster relief and recovery. A prestigious award ceremony was held prior to the concert, attended by esteemed guests, to recognize a group of Chinese representatives for their contributions to the betterment of society.

For more than 95 years, the Ordre de Malte France has been providing humanitarian aid in 27 countries and regions, making it accessible to all. As the highest-level charity under the French government’s Ministry of Public Services, it is the Sovereign Order of Malta’s French hospitaller service.

Presently, the Ordre de Malte France’s core activities include combating social exclusion and supporting the homeless with an emphasis on reintegrating them into society. They also provide legal assistance to immigrants seeking refugee status. The Ordre de Malte France partners with the French International Wonderful Sound Association, led by Zhou Qinling, to organize several charity concerts each year, with proceeds going towards supporting groups in need.
