Kayserburg had to postpone their originally scheduled January dates and missed the entirety of 2021. However, they had a successful showcase at the National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) Show, which is considered one of the largest trade shows for the music industry, held at the Anaheim Convention Center.

For Leng Tshua, the director of global sales and marketing at Pearl River Piano, the event was particularly uplifting as it allowed the company’s dealers to come together after a prolonged delay.

Leng mentioned that they had arranged a private exhibition room during the event, which was designed to showcase innovative concepts and launch new Kayserburg Point of Sale materials. The exhibition was well-attended, and they were delighted to receive visits from various industry VIPs, such as Terry Lewis, the former Executive Vice President at Yamaha Corporation USA, members of the Piano Buyer group like Larry Fine, and Christian Wissmuller from MMR.

The company shipped 16 of its best pianos from China for the June 3rd to 5th event. They also unveiled new products, including the Pearl River 5’3″ P9 and 4’10” P8 grand pianos, which were highly praised for their warm tone, ebony black wood keys, redesigned cabinet, and PR2.0 hammers.

Furthermore, Ritmüller showcased its 6′ Superior RS183 grand piano, which features brass hardware, copper wound bass strings, German Röslau wire, all-spruce soundboard, PR2.0 hammers with imported Wurzen AA grade German white outer felt, and an elegant blue felt.

The event marked the debut of the new Pearl River Contempo Series, which included the 46.5″ PL1 in a scratch-resistant MFC satin walnut finish, the 46.5″ UP118T in PVC polyester satin ebony, and the 49.5″ UP126T in polished ebony.

The 52″ Kayserburg KA6X upright and the 6’2″ Pearl River GP188A grand piano showcased a new hand-rubbed satin ebony finish. Moreover, the 5’3″ Kayserburg GH160C grand piano made an appearance with a redesigned cabinet and straight legs that featured brass end caps.

Leng took the opportunity to express his gratitude to the team that made NAMM 2022 a success for Pearl River.
